Our History
The practice
was established in the early 1950s and has had several changes of owner,
until it was purchased by Mr Irving in 1988. Following a flood in 1996,
surgeries, waiting and reception areas have been completely refurbished
and re-equipped. Although the flood caused a great deal of disruption
and damage, it did allow us to completely upgrade our facilities.
The practice was further expanded in
1997 when Parkview Dental Practice was created by the partnership of Mr
Irving and Mr Huyton, with the aim of providing the comfortable, relaxed
modern and informal environment we have today.
Parkview Dental Practice relies heavily
on modern technology and was one of the first in the area to computerise
patient records. We have subsequently revised and upgraded our computer
databases and can now process clinical records and patient appointments.
We also store clinical photographs and x-rays digitally... technology
seen in only a handful of dental practices throughout the United
Kingdom.
We aim to continue to invest in high
quality equipment to maintain and improve the excellent service we
already provide to our patients.
